Louise Harding

Louise has been involved in training dogs for 20 years. Her skills range across a wide variety including many different minority breeds. The dog training disciplines she has participated in include competitive obedience and agility, sled dog racing, heel work to music and greyhound racing.

The Harding family, consisting of Murray & Louise, three children and various animals relocated to the Central Coast NSW from New Zealand in 2008.

Whilst training her own dogs and achieving various titles. She has also mentored many other handlers who have achieved obedience titles, both in Australia and NZ.

Louise divides her personal time time between the needs of her active sporting family and training her own dogs for obedience competitions. The main aims of Louise's business Animal Talent are too:

  • Help those with a need to train their pets to be companion animals
  • Encourage and support future positive trainers who enjoy competitive obedience
  • Training animals for use in television and film.
  • Educating the local community regarding responsible dog ownership and the importance of reward based training.
Louise has developed a successful pet dog training program that encompasses established, successful positive dog training methods.  The skills she has developed from first hand experiences are useful in assisting with behaviour modification. Louise is happy to be involved in community projects that promote positive dog ownership and education in the local community.
